Hello Jim,
I like using the P3 to analyze incoming RFI. I was able to figure out
what the interference was by utilizing the P3. It is also neat for
setting up audio equalization on SSB signals. So many signals have a
very pronounced high frequency roll-off that reduces intelligibility at
low signal levels. The P3 will pick that up so easily. You are right, it
is a very handy piece of test gear.
