*** Indeed.  I'm playing with a "Hermes Lite 2" SDR.  With this,
the microphone is interfaced to the PC.  I'm using an MXL2001 studio
microphone plugged into an "Icicle" interface - one end of the Icicle
is the XLR connection ( standard for studio and stage mics ), and the 
other
end is USB.

   Getting good reports.
