[Elecraft] Effective ways to introduce amateur radio to newcomers?

We have a Youth program at J62K (I am the owner, J68HZ/ K9HZ) whereby we
sponsor and financially support youth to come and contest at a world class
contest station alongside seasoned contesters.  They get the opportunity to
share a week with us on a tough contest to understand how the station
program is developed and participate first-hand in a top contest.  Other top
contest stations do the same.
