[Elecraft] KLAT500 Getting tired?

You might want to put a good ohmmeter on your Cantenna. They left the
new market quite awhile ago, mine measured 105 ohms and I "canned it" a
few months ago. It was vintage 1967 and also responded to tipping the
can some. The load resistor in them will deteriorate over time, much
faster if it's run hot for a period. Have never had a problem with the
KAT3 ATU, my K3 is S/N 642. I had a KPA500 and KAT500 for some time,
discovered that it takes around 20-25 W to tune reliably.
