[Elecraft] K3 reveiver max input voltage

Somewhere in the frontend of my K3 there is a defect.

So to trace this problem I was told (by tech support) to inject a signal on the antenna connector and follow the signal along the receiver path with the oscilloscope.

I have an XG2, so that’s not the problem.

But making a signal of 50uV visible on a scope …… that’s not gonna work.

20 mVpp (that’s what I still can reasonably visualize on my scope) is quite a bit more than 50uV.

Is that going to be a problem?

I wonder what maximum Vpp I’m allowed to inject in the antenna connector without damaging stuff?
