> wanted to ask if there is a way to connect a P3 together with my contest program (DXlog) at thye same time/port.I use a Y cable to connect the P3 and computer with the same K3 RS232 DB9 connector, but when this is done, the P3 Panadapter goes crazy so I have to disconecct it. So, is there any other way to have both connections active and running.??

Don't use an Y cable. Connect the PC with the contest program to the PC 
port on the P3 and connect the P3 to the K3 via a normal cable.

The P3 will relay commands for the K3 to the K3 via the P3/K3 cable. It 
will add it's own commands to make the P3 work (status updates on P3 
display) and K3 responses for this are not sent to the P3 PC port.

You will need to adjust the serial port speed on the P3 to match the 
contest PC serial port.

There is no need for a Y cable anywhere.
