[Elecraft] Unable to Load Software Update

I have been trying to upgrade the software in my K-3 (4708).  This radio has all available updated boards and has not experienced any issues. For some reason it refuses to recognize the software. It keeps giving me a not seeing update and is not showing the current software. I cannot tell if the problem is with the USB on the board or the computer I am using for download. It will not show any port connection but the computer, a Windows Surface unit with windows 10 Pro. I cannot find a port  list in the devise manager. I have tried both USB connections with no luck. I have checked the configuration and everything is as it should be.  I know that I must be missing something.   The current software is 5.60.This radio has not been used for some time due to medical issues. Any help would be appreciated. KJ4ZSI
