[Elecraft] Audio config

I have just sent my ol' K3s in for repair of a mis-functioning ALC. In the
meantime, I have borrowed the club's K3s. Since it is not possible to load
the config file from my radio in this one, I have had to fumble around
setting it up (after saving its config).

I like to use the rear jacks for my mic and phones. With nothing plugged
in, there is no speaker output -- actually, speaker output disappears a
second after removing the phone plug. Spkr+ph = NO.  I can only get
'normal' function if I use the front panel PHONES jack but I don't
like headset cables on my table.

What am I missing?.
