[Elecraft] KPA500 powers up with LCD test

My KPA500 powers up with the display showing all bars of the LCD test.  It cannot be shut down with the front power switch, front panel keys are inoperative, and PC data port is unresponsive.

I suspect there was an anomaly in the data my controller sent to KPA500 PC port and this has caused the abnormal KPA500 condition.

I plan to review all my notes and browse the archives to see if I can find a previous report but, if you recognize this condition and know how to recover, please let me know.
