Good Evening,

    First fog, then rain cleared out last week's smoke. Temperatures 
dropped but it was nice to breath fresh air again. The sun, when you can 
see it, is no longer a shade of orange; it's yellow again.

    Speaking of the sun it has a new sunspot group which sent an X4.5 
class flare at us earlier today.  For the next week we will be in the 
path of any CMEs from it.  The latest projection is for the cycle to 
peak sometime next year.  Currently there is no sign of any slowdown.
