Imagine you and your K4 have arrived at a club meeting, campsite, or trade show. Without antennas.
A few prospective hams wander by. They're curious about all this radio biz. What to do?
If you have a K4, and access to the Internet, the answer is simple: use K4 Remote. You may have friends with K4s anywhere in the world whose radios are ablaze with signals on multiple bands, in all modes.
In our own experience, this has made a huge difference in demos. You can make QSOs on the spot, with antennas and power levels limited only by the remote station, without introducing even a hint of RF into your surroundings. This is a big advantage if you're surrounded by other people using RFI-spewing laptops or demonstrating radio gear of their own.
Best of all, you can show those new to the hobby what real signals sound like, from a virtual QTH across town or thousands of miles away.
