WSJT-X has provision for changing the delay between assertion CAT PTT and onset of audio (settings/advanced/miscellaneous).  The delay between end of audio and CAT PTT release is not adjustable but is close to a second.  WSJT-X has no control of either of these delays if VOX keying is used.
