My auto trainer function is only used on 160 m and 80 m and only during the day when I expect the bands to be dead and as confirmed by the panadapter.   It doesn't need a detection system any more sophisticated than a mark one eyeball.

My problem on 160 and 80 is not that I will cause QRM.  My problem is radiating a signal strong enough to make a QSO.
