Hi Bill,

Yes it does. But not with the built-in whip. You'll need at least a 25' or so random wire or other antenna that falls in the ATU's tuning range on this band.

We've tested it on many antennas of "reasonable" length relative to 40 m, and it can match most of them to 3:1 or better. That's fine for full-power operation.
