Good Evening,

Both bands were OK.  Fast fluttery QSB with some slower.  A steady
hiss, the sun is tossing CMEs at us due on the 17th and later.  Forty
meters changed by the minute.  At first signals were OK but low.  Then
they got stronger for a few minutes.  A few minutes later it was fading
again.

Here is the reason why my hands are so tired over the last few months:

http://bacona.design/ecology.html

I am working on breeding an ecosystem and measuring its energy flow.  It
consists of four trophic layers, populated by plants, herbivores, and
carnivores with three to four chromosomes filled with genes for each
organism.  Currently there are 1.799 million plants being eaten by
350,758 herbivores, being chased (and eaten) by 158,042 carnivores.  I
got a graphic interface working this week.  Next week I will add a user
interface.  Then the user can change up to 36 parameters to affect life
in the simulation.

I have more work to do on sampling, injecting, and displaying
populations of organisms.  I want to track marked populations to see how
they compete against other groups.  I need to express more of the genes
too.  Gives the critters character :)

So, if you're interested here is a bunch of reading, some code, and a
few executable files.  I run them using Wine under a Linux OS.  They
should work the same way on a Macintosh box.  They will run natively on
a Windows box.
