Good Evening,

    It was a crisp, sunny week.  Each night Jupiter found an opening in 
the trees to get my attention.  A few mornings had frost so thick it 
looked like an inch of snow.  Today temperatures rose with steady rain 
falling.  I have not seen a Steller's Jay in over a week.  Gray Jays are 
plentiful, curious, and hungry.

    The sun is less active this week, sunspot 3917 may change this.  
Solar flux is still high so we will hear a steady hiss. QSB should be 
moderate to low.  Hopefully, I can find open frequencies on both bands 
this week.  Last week I was unable to find room on forty meters.  Please 
call me early so I can check in a few of you.  I try to find a spot five 
to ten minutes before net time, then guard the frequency if possible.
