[Elecraft] Protective Cases for Field Work

I'm the kind of ham who enjoys repurposing stuff to fit my needs.
Portable tool cases come in a wide range of size and shape and many, like electric drill cases, are fine for ham use.  I don't know any particular source; they seem to show up from friends and relatives. Ask around.  Sometimes I have to spend a few minutes hacking out internal structure, not a big deal.  I'm not using any but old briefcases, often seen at thrift stores/Goodwill, would be fine too.  Soft foam is easily cut, if good padding is wanted.  I use an old Zero case for my K3, only because I found it orphaned.
