Everything that is good for the operator is also suitable for the K2.

- a waterproof underlay when the ground is wet
- a waterproof cover when it rains or snows
- a small parasol when the sun is burning and there is no tree nearby
- perhaps also a windbreak so that sand cannot penetrate anywhere
