I did the softkey mod in a contest expedition recently and it worked just fine.
some physical difficulty mounting the board without adequate hardware
I THINK the 100 volts is minus and the K3 will NOT key a negative voltage - ANY
negative voltage. My old XBand transverter had a minus 24 volt relay key line,
and the K3 will not key it, it just comes on solid with the protection diode
conducting.
