[Elecraft] KPA 500 Erratic Band Changes

K3 – KAT500 – KPA500 setup using AUX cables (2) to interconnect. All 3 devices seem to be talking to each other just fine but when I go from STBY to OPER on the amp, it changes bands and changes the band on the K3. It most often goes to 28Mhz but not every time. I checked both cables for continuity before connecting everything and they look fine. Has anyone seen anything similar to this or experienced the same thing? Tnx es 73, Dave N8AG
