Same here... it's a requirement at my contest station (to have one) so that we don't mess with gains and frequencies due to other mics during a contest when the ops change. Just plug into the back panel "MIC" connector and turn on the REAR BIAS.

I plug my mod mic into the back and the pinout is correct using rear panel and bias on
