There are a number of ways to set up a KRC2, depending on how you want 
to interface it. With an Elecraft radio, you probably want to use the 
AUX bus.

On the K2, for which the KRC2 was originally designed, the AUX signal is 
on the DE9 serial connector (and it's one of the reasons you cannot use 
a "straight cable" connecting a K2 to a serial device!!!).

On the K3, the AUX signal is on the DE-15 ACC connector, NOT on the 
9-pin serial port. The KRC2 documentation got updated for this, be sure 
you have the errate document describing connection to the K3:

So make sure you get the errata document.
