[Elecraft] K3 : strange behaviour

Hi,

 

I have a K3 (from a friend) with strange behaviour in TX.

During TX (CW, paddle) I hear the CW rattle like if a small relay is switching on the rhythm of the dit’s and dah’s.

This is when using the 100W, using the 10W (driver) and when TX is set to TEST.

It’s sounds like if the COR relay is switching (do not get the message and should not be possible when TX is in TEST mode).

On the main board next to the Xtal filters there is a yellow LED flashing in the rhythm of the CW as well. 

I have my own K3 but never heard that. Is that normal ?

 

Anyone here that can give me a hint.
