I deployed an end fed on a Shakespeare Wonder Pole at a cabin on Lake George one year. The landlord came by and said “what are you fishing for?” “Electrons,” I replied. It turns out that he had always been interested in amateur radio and we sat and ragchewed for an hour as I showed him my portable setup with my KX3 and PX3. I think I “reeled in” another ham to the hobby that day. :)
