Good Evening,

    Seasons changed abruptly.  It started with light rain; the next day 
it poured.  Now the plants and trees are starting to change color.  The 
storm center was followed by hot weather with moderate winds.  The fir 
trees are sloughing years old needles. They are falling like rain.

    The sun does not have as many spots but it seems just as active.  A 
gust of solar wind is due sometime tomorrow.  If we are lucky it will 
enhance propagation.  The heavy rain knocked the ferns down.  Now it 
will be easier to maneuver guy lines for a new doublet.
