[Elecraft] KX3-N1MM

This is a new Windows computer. I have operated the combination on a previous computer. 
I can check the software on KX3 Utility so assume USB and COM port are working. 
No communication between the two, band change, band map etc. I am not using WINKeyer or sending CW. RESET RADIO does not cure the problem. 
N1MM works in Manual VFO mode. 
Suggestions?
