[Elecraft] The RIGHT way is to adjust COMP

Seven years ago, I collected advice on setting TX EQ and compression from this list and compiled it into a blog post. This uses the DVR to A/B test compression settings to get the highest level that does not cause artifacts on your voice. The article says “KX3”, but the procedure is the same for the K3. Most of the advice came from K3 operators. The idea to use the DVR is from Lyle Johnson, KK7P.
