[Elecraft] Remote Connect using Elecraft Remote Program

I am a bit confused on what I need to configure to set up a remote
connection to my KPA1500 amp.  My primary confusion is what should be
the IP addresses to enter?

There are 3 connect options made available through the Remote program.
(1) Local Connect - I am successfully using this at home where my amp
and radio are located.
(2) Host remote - by the name this sounds to me this expects a host or
PC that is located in the shack and I am connecting to that host.
(3) Connect remote - this sounds like the one for me to remotely
connect directly to the amp. I'm not sure what I enter here for IP
address.  My thought is to enter my WAN ip address and for port I have
a port defined with port forwarding also defined.  It also asks for
username and password, now this really throws me off.  Does the amp
have a username and password that maybe I need to define?

Maybe my confusion is the result of thinking I can remote connect to
the amp without a host (PC) in the shack..  How can I use the Remote
program to connect to the amp without a pc in the shack?
