Hi Rich,
Thanks for the replay.Yes, KDVR is not installed and I had it in “nor”. I changed to “Not Installed” and now the message has gone. Mine is K3 sn. 2611.

The KDVR3 has/had some bad firmware that needs corrected at Elecraft.   
It cannot be done by the end user.

Mine was returned to have that update done, but the ERR DVR still occurs 
randomly
