*** In fact, I seem to remember a feature of good audio amps - "damping
factor". It's basically a measure of
how low-low-low - much lower than the speaker impedance - the output
impedance of the amp is. A good damping factor
helps control inertia effects in the speaker cone - helps give you
"tight bass".
