Ditto for FedEx stores. BUT -- both are free drop-off locations for
shipments that have been created online. I do all my shipping with
FedEx, because UPS Stores use packing peanuts, and FedEx stores do not.
Packing peanuts are an obscenity -- they blow around the property,
making a huge mess. There are SO many good alternatives, everything from
wadded up newspaper, butcher paper, the machined flexy paper tubes that
Amazon uses (all most environmentally friendly), to bubble-wrap and
air-filled plastic. I save bubble wrap and re-use it. The paper starts
my fireplace.
The only issue I've had with either company is that their drivers often
leave packages in my driveway, rather than to my porch. That's a very
big deal when they're heavy, because I'm old and there are a dozen steps.
