I don't know Bob, have never talked to him and don't use any of his products.
That said, his presentation at the 2020 QSO Today Expo is top rate, informative
and saved my bacon while setting up my TS-890 for RTTY.
The '890, unlike my K3(S) doesn't have an AFSK RTTY option. It does have a
legacy RS-232 port, two "virtual" serial ports via USB and an Ethernet port.
(phew). Bob's presentation showed exactly how to configure the ports and MMTTY
for RTTY and it works flawlessly.
If you haven't seen this and you have any questions about ports and interfacing,
I highly recommend that you have a look.
