[Elecraft] Are external tuners really needed with Chamaeleon antennas?

With the KX2 ATU, save your money and don’t get the MPAS Lite.
Use the setup described on page 10 of the KX2 manual, two wires connected to a double binding post adapter on the radio. That will be lighter, cheaper, and more efficient than the Chameleon antenna.
SOTAbeams has nice wire winders (I like the “midi” size) and high-visibility antenna wire.
