Yes, also a good idea. My Astron PS output voltage had been running a bit
low and needed to be adjusted. As an added item I bought some low ESR
electrolytics and put one across the output terminals inside that supply in
case the old original ones were suffering to do their switcher duties. 
(Had that problem inside an Orion.)

Have you verified that your power supply and DC power cable are delivering
full voltage to your K3 when the K3 is set to deliver
110 watts output? This is a frequent cause of low power output. 
Use the K3 internal voltmeter

I have a problem with my K3, only 60-70 watts out, even after calibration on
5 and 50 watts. This is the first time I have had a problem with the K3,
after years of good operation. I emailed support over a week ago and called
them on the phone last week, still have not heard anything. What is the
correct email for support??
