[Elecraft] Local remote receive

Looking for the simplest way to remote an SDR to the other end of the lot
to use as a local receiver. I live in an apartment and that is no place to
put a receiver. I have a constant S9 noise level on most bands. I am
thinking of hanging my SDR in my garage half a block away where there is
almost no noise on most bands. It would be nice to have it listen to my
frequency automatically. Any ideas for a simple, inexpensive way to try
that out. Thinking of a wifi link through my network to my shack computer.
