If this has already been announced here, forgive me; when life is busy as it has been over the last couple of weeks I don't always read the reflector.  In any case the news is worth repeating.

In the October issue of QST, at p. 62, the ARRL announced that Jim Brown, K9YC, a frequent contributor to this reflector, was awarded the ARRL's Technical Service Award for 2020, recognizing his numerous contributions to Amateur Radio in numerous venues.  I won't repeat the encomium here; just wanted to share my congrats to Jim.
