[Elecraft] DVR memories not via K-Pod

Good Morning Ken,
Win4K3Suite will operate M1-M4. Program each memory as you always do. Then just click on M1-M4 on the Win4K3Suite window for the memory you want.
Yes, N1MM+ will do it and Writelog will do it as well. I have not used it in either of these contest logging programs.

Is anyone aware of a way to select the DVR recorded messages externally on a K3S? I don’t want to wear out the M1-M4 memory buttons on the rig and I’m already having problems with a new K-Pod where the buttons are sticking and not starting a recorded message until pressed 2 or more times. Not good during a SSB contest. I’m disappointed that the KPod buttons are already wearing out. Wish someone would create an aftermarket push button unit for this. I have heard that n1mm contest logging can be set up to use the F keys for this but that it’s not easy to set up?
