You must be in a pretty noisy location, Bob. Sometimes my QTH is pretty 
quiet in some directions, sometimes it's noisy. I ALWAYS need Preamp 2 
on 12, 10, and 6M when it's quiet to hear the weak ones. When it's 
noisy, I don't.
