Hi Andy,

You are right, that is the missing link.

I already took the SDA100 apart and found out the RS232 receiver MAX202 TTL
output was not going anywhere....
Indeed it goes to an internal (open jumper), which also connects to pin 7
and 9.

You also need to link 7 and 9 on the SDA 100 connector.  Pin assignments on
the SDA 100 connector are not typical RS-232.

1. Data out RXD
2. RXD to RS232 Radio TXD
3. TXD to Radio RXD
4. TTL Kenwood and active high for Radio CTS 5. Signal Ground 6.
7. TTL version of pin 2
8. NC
9. TTL RXD for Steppir."
