[Elecraft] K3S Firmware Update for Mac

What directory is the app located in? If on the desktop, move it to the Applications folder. In Catalina certain directories are restricted - you have to give permission to access files there. This sounds like the app is unable to access some of its resources.
By the way, you have two of us who are associated with Elecraft involved now. W4SMT is the application author. He knows the app inside and out.
