Of course. This particular headset has an inferior dynamic mic, according to reviews. At this price point, I’d expect electrets to be the best performers.

If I was going to upgrade my headset, I’d start with headsets used by sports broadcasters and ENG teams. Is it still called “electronic news gathering”?
