Wayne's message about winter field day reminds me of my first winter field day, in southern California. It was about 78 degrees in the park with a large group. I got to play with my first Elecraft rig, a K3. I was sold. I immediately sold my marginal FTdx1200 and got a K3, KPA500, KAT500 and P3.
