[Elecraft] Remote Operation of K4

I have watched many of Eric’s videos on YouTube about the K4 and how easy it will be to operate remotely through its Ethernet port. 

I have a rather naive question, because I’ve not seen much written about this with other rigs.

How would you power up and power down the K4 remotely?  I can’t imagine leaving the rig powered for days on end waiting for remote operation.
