Ronnie, it's a REFLOCK board that is installed INSIDE the 2M module.... It is "highly recommended" (was), so that IMPLIES that the 2M module can be used without it, but at some sort of reduced accuracy in frequency I would guess.

My 2M module install turned into the need to ship it in and fix several issues, one of which I caused when I slipped and let the smoke out of a latching switch circuit...

Works now...  I'd ask Elecraft....
