[Elecraft] Question for California Hams

This has been generally debunked.  Apparently ONE California repeater operator was found to have not paid agreed to and billed tower and colocation fees for his repeater and got his shorts bunched up when they came after him.   He then began what is essentially a “fake news” campaign (in the current terminology).  

YMMV, depending on your attraction to conspiracy theories …
