Unless Apple changes its position on 32 bit software like the KX3 Utility, 32 bit apps will not run on the next major release of macOS. The warning message is just that - a warning message that the app in question will not run on future version of the OS. The warning messages appears at random times, but is still valid. One can use the Activity Monitor app to determine what software is 32 bit and what is 64 bit.
I’m a registered Apple developer, and have updated my apps to 64 bit code long ago, but some apps are written in such a way as to make conversion to 64 bit code problematic.
I believe Elecraft produces the Windows versions of the apps, but the macOS and Linux versions are undertaken by others such as W4SMT.

It’s to do with 32-bit versus 64-bit and future versions of the OS not running old software.
