[Elecraft] K3S Filter Shape Factor

I thought the shape factor of the 2.8kHz filter was 1.5 to 1 which is
impressive up front with good deep out of band pass rejection in excess of
70 dB. The DSP adds the final shaping to the signal that exceeds the
roofing filter spec and is therefore the most effective source of final
rejection. One observation I have made is that the DSP efficiency is better
when I use the 2.1 or 1.8 roofing filters which suggests that the
selectivity of the roofing filters is worth quite a bit in the mix. Is this
a fair analysis? MD here not EE.
