[Elecraft] KPA500 no transmit question...

This sounds like there is no RF going into the KPA500. When the KPA500 is in STBY mode and he transmits, do the KPA500 indicators show the proper power level to match what he thinks the K3 is outputting? He might insert a wattmeter between the K3 and KPA500 to make sure that power is going into the KPA when he thinks it is. If not, then it is time to diagnose things in the K3.

The folks down in Watsonville are very good at diagnosing system problems of this sort. Calling them to help solve the issue would be a good thing.
