[Elecraft] FIELD DAY PREP

[Tox]

Trying to remember, but wasn't that a legitimate issue with early
analog telephony? I don't recall if, pre SS7, the line amps had
automatic gain adjustment. Enough hops, didn't the signal start to
attenuate?
