KPOD macros could stitch together 50 kHz with of UPn;UPn; or DNn or use direct frequency entry with FA for the bottom of the phone and CW band segments for a few bands.

What I do in contests is type a frequency into the callsign input area of N1MM; the hands stay on the keyboard. I also sometimes slowly tune the radio with up and down keyboard keys when I’m using a computer.

When in an assisted contest, you can jump to the next spot you haven’t worked in the bandmap with a single keystroke.

I don’t always use a computer for operating, but when I care about the time it takes is usually in a contest when I’m using a computer logger.
